Becky Kerridge is the contracts manager for Adroit Group, Calztec Fit Out and Adroit Estates. Ensuring contracts for each project and service are clear and documented before work begins and delivered to the letter so everyone wins.

When she's not going through paperwork with a fine tooth comb she's able to join the team onsite with her project management hat on, reviewing work and even getting involved with builds when they need an extra pair of hands. With her experience in refurbishments in residential and commercial properties and her academic and work background in law she has the perfect set of skills to manage contracts for Adroit and it's companies. Streamlining software and data management to make sure everything is recorded and nothing slips through the net; she often works closely with delivery teams to ensure data capture processes are followed and reporting to clients is accurate.

Another dog lover in the team but even better she's the team dog sitter and can manage even the most stubborn of pups with ease. She's into health and fitness and is always on the move.

Darrel Hawkins serves as Operations Director for React Cooling and brings over 30 years of experience in commercial property management, HVAC systems engineering, building services, and the clinical sector. As a time-served engineer, Darrel has developed extensive expertise across the full engineering and operational lifecycle, from technical design and project delivery through to the management of large-scale engineering operations at a national level.

Fully F-Gas qualified, Darrel combines practical, hands-on knowledge with strategic operational leadership. Having worked on HVAC systems since his early career, he possesses a deep technical understanding of system design, equipment selection, installation planning, and long-term operational performance. His breadth of experience enables him to advise clients on the most effective and commercially appropriate solutions for a wide range of building environments.

Throughout his career, Darrel has progressed from engineering roles into senior facilities and operations management, giving him a well-rounded perspective on both technical delivery and business-critical service performance. In his current role, he is responsible for overseeing operations across React Cooling, while also leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of installation and servicing projects across diverse commercial sectors, including hotels, hospitals, schools, offices, and clinical facilities.

Darrel’s expertise extends across all stages of project development, including system design, load calculations, equipment specification, budgeting, cost planning, installation strategy, team mobilisation, and end-to-end project management. His experience in delivering large-scale projects and managing nationwide engineering operations ensures that every solution is developed with a clear focus on performance, compliance, efficiency, and client requirements.

A key area of Darrel’s specialism is HVAC design — the engineering discipline concerned with creating  air conditioning, heating and ventilation, and systems that provide thermal comfort, maintain indoor air quality, and optimise energy efficiency. This process involves detailed assessment of heating and cooling loads, equipment sizing and selection, ventilation and filtration strategies, control system integration, regulatory compliance, and overall project cost planning. Darrel’s extensive knowledge in this field enables React Cooling to deliver robust, practical, and high-performing solutions tailored to each client’s operational needs.

In addition to designing AC and building services solutions for new clients through React Energy, Darrel also supports and oversees a nationwide service team of more than 20 F-Gas qualified engineers. His leadership ensures that React Cooling continues to deliver consistently high standards of engineering support, project execution, and ongoing service excellence across the UK.

James Haslam is the CEO of the Adroit Commercial Group and all it's subsidiary companies including React Energy, Adroit Estates, Calztec Fit Out and Romsley Point. In recent years James has focused on expanding the services and skill in the team to be able to reliably deliver more to his clients and maintain more properties across the country.

Joanne  Shellis is the Adroit Group Financial administrator, wearing many hats for the business. With years of experience in finance she's always on top of where the money is, whether it's making or taking payments to ensure all operations and projects run smoothly.

When she's not doing the money maths in the office she supports other functions for the group including facilities management for Romsley point, from negotiating for services and suppliers, to setting off fire alarms on a Monday morning to make sure everyone starts their week alert, Joanne makes sure Romsley Point runs smoothly for the many businesses at the site.

Joanne quietly makes sure everything is functioning for the team, ready for what ever is thrown her way, she just hits the floor running and nothing phases her. Her excellent problem solving skills and calm energy make her the perfect fixer for the team. Ever the team player, Joanne will know if you're waning and be there with a pick me up cup of tea at the ready!

Jodie Jones is the Services Administrator for React Cooling and supports other teams within the Adroit Group. Processing all AC service and maintenance requests from clients with precision, she is able to connect to the management and engineers within React Cooling to ensure the best solutions and engineer are allocated to a request. Jodie's multitasking skills are superior, from smoothly getting engineers out to service clients, to managing all incoming requests for repairs or new clients, Jodie keeps React Cooling running like a well oiled machine.

Beyond day-to-day service requests, Jodie also plays a key role in coordinating facilities management and repair works for clients, acting as the central link between engineers, management teams, and site contacts. She keeps jobs moving smoothly from first report to completion—booking access, confirming scopes, and making sure the right information is in place so engineers can deliver efficiently. With a strong focus on compliance and documentation, Jodie helps ensure work is completed to the correct standards and that clients stay informed at every stage. With her endless kindness and patience she is the perfect person to manage client emergencies and find fast solutions to any issues.

In her free time you'll find her out on the golf course, with four generations of her family playing golf she's a pro!

Sophie Haslam is the COO for Adroit Group, managing all things operational for the Adroit group, Calztec, Adroit Estates and the day to day management and operations for Romsley Point. Having been part of Calztec since its formation and working to build the business from the ground up. Sophie has hands on experience when it comes to construction, dilapidation and fit outs but these days she prefers digital note taking and working away from the sites and heavy machinery.

With her brilliant team building and management skills, Sophie effortlessly brings people together and has been instrumental in the growth of the team. She strategically recruited team members whose skills and interpersonal qualities aligned to drive effective business growth and deliver the best results for clients and their properties. All the while managing the operations across the Adroit Group.

From process management to incorporating software use to streamline and monitor projects Sophie is at the helm across departments find ways to become more efficient as well as facilitating growth and further serving clients.

For 2026 Sophie is launching a set of events at the Romsley Point Head Office to host business guest speakers from across sectors to aid the wide range of clients, partners and special guest to both learn and network.

As Sophie continues to grow the business she has mastered the art of recruiting the right people to gel with her established and experienced team whether on or off site.
